Corporate Tour Highlights: May & June Roundup – From Global Travelers to Family Adventures

What do a group of international travel writers, 95 PepsiCo employees, and dozens of curious high schoolers have in common? They all explored New York with us this May and June—each one enjoying a unique, thoughtfully curated experience that combined culture, food, history, and surprise moments.

Here’s a look at just some of our favorite recent corporate and private tours:

🌍 Wanderful Women Take on the Lower East Side

Fresh off the energy of the WITS (Women in Travel Summit), we hosted a special Immigrant NY: Lower East Side, Chinatown & Little Italy Tour for Wanderful’s global community of female travel bloggers and creators. The goal? Explore the cultural layers of NYC through food—and leave a lasting impression.

From Polish bialys to pineapple pork buns, the group was treated to an unforgettable culinary journey. But what really made the experience special? Surprise Wanderful-branded cake pops from Rebecca’s Cake Pops in Essex Market —a small gesture that spoke volumes.

As one guest shared:

“It’s those little moments—when someone feels thought about and cared for, not just as a customer but as a human—that make all the difference in travel and hospitality.”

🖼️ Private Family Tours: From Food to Fine Art

May & June also brought in multiple private family groups, each looking for a fun, educational way to explore the city together. One standout was a custom Industry City Tour, which included a special visit to Megan K. Euell, a local portrait and landscape painter. Families had the chance to step inside her studio, watch her work, and learn firsthand about NYC’s vibrant creative community—an intimate and enriching experience for all ages.

🎨 Street Art & Freeman’s Alley with Students

We also had the pleasure of leading a Lower East Side street art walking tour for a high school group. One of the highlights? Freeman’s Alley, a hidden gem bursting with color, creativity, and photo ops. The students left inspired—and possibly with a few new favorite Instagram backdrops.

🏙️ Two Tours, One Day—Seamless Execution

On one especially busy day, we ran two large-scale tours simultaneously: a Midtown highlights tour for a travel group and a Central Park walking tour for 52 students. This scenic tour covers Central Park’s most iconic spots, including Strawberry Fields, Bow Bridge, Bethesda Fountain, and the Central Park Mall. Guests also enjoy views of Fifth Avenue, The Plaza Hotel, The Pond, and the Carousel—a perfect intro to the park’s beauty, history, and charm.

🍷 Greenwich Village: Extended & Elevated

Another highlight? A 4-hour immersive Greenwich Village experience designed for a corporate group that wanted a deeper dive. We added extra stops and ended the tour at a cozy local bar, where the team could relax, debrief, and raise a glass to a day well spent. It’s those custom touches that make a standard tour feel like a VIP experience.

🏢 PepsiCo Takes Over Midtown

And speaking of big groups—this June, we welcomed 95 PepsiCo employees and their families for a guided walk through Midtown Manhattan. With six guides (including two Spanish-speaking groups) leading the way, we broke the group into smaller pods to keep it intimate and engaging for all. It was a joyful, high-energy day with families laughing, learning, and seeing the city from a new perspective.

✨ Plus, Our Classics

In between all these special events, we continued doing what we do best—leading unforgettable Public and Private food tours through Chelsea Market, the Lower East Side, Williamsburg and DUMBO/Brooklyn Heights. These remain fan favorites for a reason: iconic neighborhoods, amazing eats, and our signature local storytelling.
