Whether you're a tourist or a local, Like A Local Tour promises an enjoyable food and history journey. I joined their Chelsea Market tour and it is very well-designed. Seriously all the food we had was 10/10 delicious, like I am willing to revisit these vendors in the future. The portion is also just right — you get to try a bit of everything, while not suffering from overeating. As a NYC newbie, I wouldn't have discovered these exceptional vendors at Chelsea Market and Pier 57 if I hadn't joined their tour. Highly recommend joining their tours if you have friends or family visiting New York, so they can get a full experience of the diverse food scene.

Bring your empty belly and walking shoes!

Loved this tour - Takumi Taco was definitely a highlight. We got to see parts of NYC that a lot of people don't. The Chelsea Market area was amazing and the food choices sublime. Heading out with our guide Walter was fabulous - he took us along the Highline and pointed out little things we would not have noticed.

Excellent addition to conferences & meetings!

We did they Chelsea Market and High Line tour with Chris and it was fantastic! This tour was part of a site visit for an upcoming conference being held in the area and we were trying out some options that we could provide to our members and this will definitely be on the list. Chris was so much fun and had a lot of knowledge about the area and the food was delicious. The thai tacos were the groups favorite. A few months ago, my company had the wonderful opportunity to work with Lauren to create a private tour of the Chelsea Market and High Line. We were able to pick and choose the attractions that we wanted to see and food stops that we wanted to try. The pricing was very reasonable for the length of the tour, quality of the tour guide and amount of food & drinks that we had a chance to sample. One particular fun highlight was the hot sauce tasting at Heatonist. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for an educational and entertaining activity in NYC that can be customized for any guests.
