Flatiron Food, History & Architecture Tour to Relaunch in June!
After a year of quarantine, we’re very excited to relaunch our famous Flatiron Food, Architecture, and History Tour starting in June!
The tour begins underneath the gold Tiffany clock at 200 5th Ave, just across from the historic Madison Square Park. From there, the first stop is just through the doors of Eataly, a sprawling marketplace featuring the finest imported Italian foods you’ll find this side of the Atlantic. You’ll have a taste of fresh baked focaccia, and then have some time to explore on your own before embarking on your trip through this historic and iconic NYC neighborhood.
Along the way, you’ll taste the best food the neighborhood has to offer, including a hearty, mouth-watering Reuben bagel from Zucker’s, an artisanal grilled cheese sandwich from Beecher’s, and a decadent dessert at Bread’s Bakery. Yes, the tour is heavy on carbs and protein, which is by design, as you’ll be doing a fair amount of walking and sightseeing in between stops.
As you walk, you’ll learn the rich history of the area from your expert guide, and you’ll have the chance to pose for great photo opportunities outside the iconic Flatiron building, the Teddy Roosevelt Home, and Union Square park.
The Flatiron Food, History & Architecture Tour runs Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, beginning at 10:30 am. Click here to book your experience today!
