March Corporate Outings: Creativity, Connection & Iconic NYC Neighborhoods

From street art to content creation, pizza slices to skyline views—March was packed with unique and engaging outings across NYC. Whether our guests came to explore the creative heart of Brooklyn, dive into the immigrant history of Manhattan, or bond over bites in Chelsea Market, each group left with great memories, stronger connections, and maybe even a few new friends. Here’s a look at what went down this March with Like A Local Tours.
From Street Art Murals to Brooklyn Bites
Another corporate group joined us for a hands-on Street Art Tour & Graffiti Workshop in the Lower East Side, where they explored one of NYC’s most colorful outdoor galleries before picking up spray cans to create their own mural—complete with a personalized tribute to their home country (pictured above). This creative, collaborative experience left everyone with a newfound appreciation for urban art (and some pretty impressive spray paint skills!).
That same day, we hosted our Influencer Networking & Content Tour at Industry City. Ten NYC-based creators came together to explore the Brooklyn Design District while tasting artisan bites and connecting with local makers. Though they came from different niches and didn’t know each other beforehand, by the end of the tour, plans for future collabs were already underway.
Held on International Women’s Day, the experience also spotlighted several amazing woman-owned businesses. From pastries to chocolate truffles, the group soaked in the flavors, stories, and creative energy that make Industry City such a standout destination. Read more about it here!
Customized Brooklyn Adventures
We also crafted a customized version of our Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge & DUMBO Food Tour tailored for a larger group looking to explore the charm and history of Brooklyn’s waterfront neighborhoods. We accommodated many dietary restrictions within this large group, ensuring there was something yummy for everyone to try! With cobblestone streets, skyline views, and curated stops, this walking tour was a picture-perfect way to experience NYC from a new perspective—while sparking genuine team bonding along the way.
Lower East Side Double Feature: Pizza & History
One corporate group kicked things off with a double-dose of Lower East Side discovery. Half of the team took our classic Immigrant New York Food Tour: Lower East Side, Chinatown & Little Italy, exploring the neighborhood’s rich immigrant history while visiting historic sites and sampling local favorites.
Meanwhile, the other half dove into a customized Pizza Tour of the Lower East Side & Nolita, tasting four iconic NYC slices. From the inventive vodka square slice at Unregular Pizza to the classic slice at Nolita Pizza, this was a day well spent for any pizza enthusiast. Between the bites and the banter over who had the best slice, it was the perfect recipe for a fun, team-bonding experience.
Corporate Connections at Chelsea Market & the High Line
Our Chelsea Market, High Line & Hudson Yards Tour continued to be a favorite among corporate teams. Groups from industries as varied as tech, media, and non-profit enjoyed this delicious and scenic route through Manhattan’s West Side.
Guests explored the historic market’s culinary gems, strolled the elevated High Line park, and learned about the transformation of this once-industrial area into a thriving cultural hub. With plenty of opportunities to share food, stories, and laughs, this tour was a perfect mix of relaxation and connection.
